Hello Urban gypsy cowgirls...new work in the shop

Laid Back Sunday

I made a harvest soup today from fresh farmers market vegetables and was thinking, how inspiring cooking in an interesting kitchen would be.
This kitchen photo, made me realize more and more how a kitchen
should have its own artistic expression...I really like the uniqueness of this one

Makawao Street Art



                                          Spent the day in makawao today...its an upcountry
                                          cowboy town with cool shops and eateries and this
                                          is how you start the day...these beautiful pieces of
                                          art, cover a cement wall in a public parking lot...so
                                          cool. It was so nice to be upcountry...less hustle and
                                          bustle...very artsy town.  I had the day off, so my daughter
                                          and I went for a drive...to cooler temps...we grabbed some
                                          grub from the deli and found a cool secret spot with a rock wall
                                          surrounded by bamboo...what a treat. Then drove farther up, to
                                          ho'okipa...where the surf was and enjoyed watching the kite sailers
                                          and windsurfers

Been away...way too long

hello everyone
I've been busy working on new items for the shop...and exploring my new home away from home.
School has started for my college daughter and my youngest is in high school...too wild. My girls
have grown so fast...I'm in utter ahhhhhhhhhhh.  So proud and excited for both of them. The sun
is so bold and beautiful here on maui...and the rhythm is so different from California. I love both
places for their...beauty and inspiring landscape. I'm missing the fall color scape of Northern California.
