stacking up

don't you wish life's responsibilities...looked like these loosely stacked knit cotton wash cloths, casually just waiting for their prettiness to unveil themselves. Showing off, not even knowing it and bringing subtle joy to all who look upon them. I contemplate this way of thinking and realize more and more what slow living... a simpler life means to me...its taking in just small simple moments like these and enjoying the beauty in the experience...not looking at the stack or pile of what needs to be done...what seems to be pressing...but what brings me joy. Today I'm tackling those pressing things that have to be done, but I'm doing it at my pace and making it enjoyable. peace and love...kelly
